If it's difficult to remove, gently poke at the edge with a knife or sharp pin. 6. Pull down the backing only about 10 inches at a time, gradually pressing the film onto the wet window and ensuring it adheres smoothly. 7. Use a squeegee or credit card to eliminate any bubbles on the film once it's attached to the window. 8. Keep an eye on the film over the next hour or two to check for new bubbles and repeat step 7 as needed.
